Natalie and Richard’s wedding day
{The Elvetham, Hampshire}

What a superb day we had back at The Elvetham on Sunday with Natalie and Richard, an idyllic venue filled with lovely people many of whom we had met before while photographing the wedding of one of Natalie’s sisters.  The excitement around the hotel was wonderful, everywhere looked splendid and the joy of their ceremony brought tears to many happy faces!

The grounds at The Elvetham are extensive and beautifully maintained making a superb framework for this impressive 19th century mansion, this makes photographing there thoroughly enjoyable so combine that with Natalie and Richard and we were totally spoiled!  A very relaxed drinks reception in the grounds preceded the wedding breakfast in the light and airy conservatory from where everyone could still enjoy the views of the gardens surrounding them.

Earle and I send our congratulations to Natalie and Richard, we wish them a long and very happy marriage.  Please enjoy some of the images here we captured during your wedding day while we complete the preparation of your proofs.  Any comments will be welcomed as always:-)

Helen and James’ wedding
{Ramster Hall, Chiddingfold, Surrey}

The magnificent Ramster Hall in Surrey was the venue for Helen and James’ wedding day but before their late afternoon ceremony took place we met up with them for their preparations. Earle was with James at The Inn on the Lake in Godalming while I travelled over to Helen’s Epsom family home. The early afternoon passed in both locations with the business of wedding outfits and excited chatter, we had time for a few family shots at home before leaving for Ramster Hall.

The heavens opened during the 40 minute drive and it looked for all the world that Helen and James’ wedding was going to be entirely inside Ramster Hall but as we approached the beautiful grounds not only did the torrential rain stop but the sun was shining! Earle was ready to meet Helen and her father on their arrival while I moved into the Great Drawing Room with the guests and met with James. Helen and James marriage ceremony was remarkable in it’s beauty and emotion, even the registrar wiping a tear from her eye!!!

The sun continued to shine as the drinks reception was enjoyed out in the courtyard before retiring to the Long Hall for the wedding breakfast, speeches and cake cutting. The party was in full swing even before the band struck up for the evening and the first dance was quickly joined by the guests who partied through. A lovely touch for the final hour of the night was the pianist in the Great Drawing Room who played for those who wanted to join in a song or two.

Massive congratulations to Helen and James on your wedding day, we wish you both much happiness in your marriage. Earle and I have selected a few images for your enjoyment while we continue with the full edit, as always we welcome anyone who would like to join in with our blog, just a click on the comments box will put you in the right place:-)
