Leanne and Julian’s wedding
{Rhinefield House Hotel, New Forest}

Leanne and Julian’s fantastic and emotional wedding at Rhinefield House was a joy.  The seasonal Christmas vibe was still very present with the giant Christmas tree filling the window in the Great Hall welcoming the guests and bride and groom for their marriage ceremony. The Willy Wonka wedding cake was just one of the many  features Leanne and Julian had decided upon to be sure their day was filled with laughter and fun for everyone there.  The evening party began on this occasion before the traditional first dance with Julian having organised some of his friends from the entertainment world  to perform for Leanne, their family and friends, starting with a terrific fire performance out in the grounds then back indoors again for the incredible jugglers and puzzling mathemagician!

Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to Leanne and Julian on your marriage and a superb day.  Please enjoy the selection of images from your day here while we prepare your proofs.

Shenay and Dan’s wedding
{Rhinefield House Hotel}

It was one of those glorious October mornings in the New Forest which makes you feel completely delighted to be out and about before most other people.  The drive through Rhinefield to the hotel was stunning and a great day with Shenay and Dan was about to get started.   I met Shenay and her Mum with the bridesmaids during their preparations at Rhinefield House while Earle was meeting Dan and the boys back in Bournemouth before they made their way over to the hotel later in the morning.

The sun was streaming through the massive windows of the Great Hall as Shenay and her father walked up the aisle to Dan for the marriage ceremony and it shone brightly still for them as the day continued outside for the drinks reception and the formal family photographs which we completed before taking Shenay and Dan off into the forest for some of those all important bride and groom photographs.

We were back spot on time for Michael Judd the Master of Ceremonies to officiate over the receiving line and wedding breakfast and take care of everything right through to the first dance.  Once the party was under way we popped outside again with Shenay and Dan for a few photographs of them both in the grounds of Rhinefield House then returned to the party which was enjoying the Turkish influences of Shenay’s father and family!

Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to Shenay and Dan on their marriage and a wonderful wedding day, we have selected a few of our favourite images for you all to enjoy while we complete the full post production on the proofs.  Enjoy….and please do join in with our blog and leave a comment if you wish:-)

Salima and Nigel’s wedding
{Rhinefield House Hotel, New Forest}

The month of May kicked of for us with a drive over to the New Forest and Rhinefield House Hotel where Salima and Nigel were marrying that day.  Earle was due to meet up with Nigel and his party later that morning at the hotel and was there in plenty of time while I made my onward trip to Southampton’s Ocean Village to see Salima with her sister and mother for their preparations.  Tori was already there with her colleague taking care of hair and make up for the girls and before long it was time for Salima to dress for the day ahead.

Nigel and his best man were taking a wonderfully laid back approach to their morning and when I arrived at Rhinefield House they were to be found in the ceremony room sorting out buttonholes with Nigel’s father.  Earle was on hand outside with Bev, our very favourite videographer, ready and waiting for Salima’s arrival in her wedding car.  The approach along the driveway to Rhinefield is just beautiful so the opportunity for one of us to be there to photograph this safe in the knowledge the other one is inside with Nigel and the wedding guests taking care of the photography there, is perfect.

All of us enjoyed a lovely ceremony with the sun shining through the fantastically huge windows placing the bride and groom in a beautiful pool of light within this very impressive room.  Those formal family group photographs were soon completed once Salima and Nigel had enjoyed a chance to receive the congratulations from their guests and we then borrowed them from the wedding party for just a very short while to take a few photographs of them both alone together in the grounds before they went inside again for their wedding breakfast.  The speeches took place after the meal and to top it all off, a suprise for Nigel in the form of a Skype link to his mother in Canada with a huge cheer from all at the wedding.

The day continued with Salima and Nigel’s first dance which introduced the evening celebrations and party time!  It has been a brilliant day Nigel and Salima, Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to you both and hope you both enjoy the images we have picked out here to give you a taster of your special day.

As ever if anyone would like to join in with our blog we would love to hear your comments or congratulations to Nigel and Salima.

Izabela and Andrew’s wedding
(Rhinefield House)

Sunday…today we did not have to travel far just along the road to Lyndhurst in the New Forest and Rhinefield House.  It was the guests who had the long journey to make, with one or two exceptions they travelled all the way from Poland and Sydney, Australia to be with Izabela and Andrew and celebrate their marriage in this beautiful setting.

Izabela and Andrew were both at Rhinefield House before the ceremony to prepare but were kept well apart to ensure there was no risk of spotting each other before the appointed hour!  Izabela was being kept occupied in her room with her maid of honor, mothers and sister’s in law (to be), two hairdressers and make up artist Helen Spenser of MadeUp, oh and me of course…. all snug and busy with lots of laughter when the english amongst us decided it really was time to learn a little Polish!!

Andrew and his bestman Adrian, had it a little quieter and were able to enjoy a drink before making their way to the church, Our Lady of Assumption and St Edward in Lyndhurst.  Earle was with Andrew and Adrian who mingled with some of their guests enabling Earle to capture some lovely images with the boys trying to relax any nerves before the ceremony.

Izabela arrived with Ilona at the church in a beautiful ivory Rolls Royce provided and chauffered by Paul of Prestige Wedding Cars in his usual impeccable fashion.  We all enjoyed a beautiful and very emotional ceremony, Father Dodd and the registrar made everyone very welcome, we look forward to the opportunity to visit them and their church again. It was wonderful to see some of the Polish traditions and customs integrated into the ceremony and outside the church following the resessional.  Earle and I always completely embrace the opportunity to experience customs outside of our everyday experiences, without fail it is always fantastically uplifting.  This was portrayed again later at Rhinefield where once gathered in the gardens Izabela and Andrew’s guests all began to sing again quite unrehersed but completely unified.  It happened again towards the end of the wedding breakfast, wonderful traditional folk type songs full of warmth and love.  Weird, we could not understand one single word, despite my crash course earlier in the day… but by the tone and expressions we knew they were in total celebration.

We took the wedding party and guests outside following the wedding breakfast for the formal family photographs which we completed without delay and then borrowed Izabela and Andrew from their guests for a short while to photograph them together around the stunning grounds of Rhinefield

The evening celebrations kicked off with Iza and Andrew performing their wonderful first dance.  They had prepared a particular routine and we all were enthralled to watch, I had to remind myself in fact that I was there to photograph this!!!  The evening was then intermingled with fantastic music provided by a marvellous live band and a DJ providing the Polish element to the evening.

A special request then came from Andrew, they would love some photographs up in their sumptuous bridal suite and would we mind??  Iza and Andrew blend so naturally together this was a dream to do.

Thank you both for asking us to photograph your wedding, it was a beautiful day and priviledge to be a part of.

Earle and I have picked out a small selection of images from Sunday for your enjoyment and are pleased to welcome anyone who would like to add a comment here.  Anything in Polish I shall endeavour to add a translation for our other readers!!!:-)
