Lauren and John’s wedding
{Christchurch Priory and Captain’s Club}

What a perfect day this Friday the 13th was for Lauren and John’s marriage at the stunning Christchurch Priory and the very beautiful riverside venue of Captain’s Club in Christchurch.  The flowers all looked beautiful and the team at Captain’s Club were all very excited and delighted with the finished look of their venue for Lauren and John who had focused very strongly on English tradition and summer time colours giving the most perfect feel to their entire day. Michael Judd was as always wonderful in his role at Toastmaster and made sure everything ran completely smoothly.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to pop along to Hengistbury Head with Lauren and John later in the day for a few minutes to capture some images of them on the beach and Cliffside which we are confident will contrast beautifully with the images earlier in the day around the grounds of the Priory.

Earle and I send Lauren and John our warmest congratulations and wish them many years of very happy marriage.  We have selected some of our favourite images for your enjoyment while we complete the post production for the proofs.

April-Jane and Philip’s wedding
{The Italian Villa, Compton Acres}

We have known Philip and his family for many years and so it was with huge pleasure we were able to photograph his marriage to April-Jane last Sunday at the very elegant Italian Villa at Compton Acres in Poole.  AJ was spending the morning with her family and 6 bridesmaids while they all enjoyed a thoroughly girlie time elbow deep in make up and hairdressing accessories with any spare space being filled with champagne and bacon butties carefully prepared by her lovely grandparents.

Earle met Philip at his parents Broadstone home where everyone was enjoying a hearty breakfast while finishing touches were being put to some key speeches before leaving for the Italian Villa to greet all the guests for the 1.00pm ceremony.

AJ and her party arrived in good time, with the bridesmaids leading AJ and her grandfather up the aisle to Philip.  The registrar is a longstanding family friend and delivered a beautifully personal and relaxed ceremony just as Philip and AJ had hoped for, with lots of laughter and just a few tears.

The weather was extremely chilly so we did not linger outside for any longer than necessary after the recessional but we did pop along into the  gardens for a few minutes with AJ and Philip for some portraits.  A massive well done to AJ for this, you really were very stoic!  Everyone enjoyed the delicious wedding breakfast and brilliant speeches including some surprise ones for AJ!  With the evening rolling on it was big time party time:-)

We send our warmest congratulations to AJ and Philip on your marriage and for having the most wonderfully behaved baby!!  Little Freddie is a total star.  We have selected a few images from your day for you to enjoy while we complete the post production on your proofs.

Jules and Cos wedding
{Tyrells Ford, Avon}

We have worked with Jules for a number of years now at many weddings, she is the very talented lady who owns Jules Florist.  When Jules and Cos decided that if they were to have a wedding photographer it was going to have to be Earle and Jane, we were thrilled to accept and have been looking forward to our dear friends wedding day ever since the date was set:-)

Robyn Vallender was all organised to see Jules and her bridesmaids for the preparations in the bridal room at the Tyrells Ford and without a doubt when the girls walked into the ceremony room Cos was one extremely happy man!!!  Jules of course had organised all the flowers throughout and everywhere looked totally stunning.  Their marriage ceremony was beautifully emotional, full of laughter and tears of joy.

The early evening sun was shining as Jules and Cos greeted their guests outside for their drinks reception before the evening continued in the dining room and everyone was seated to enjoy a relaxed meal and partytime.

A perfect day for Jules and Cos which we were thrilled to be part of.  Enjoy your photographs, a few of our favourites are here while we complete the full edit.

Becky and Sam’s wedding
{Trinity Methodist Church and The Miramar Hotel}

It was a lovely local wedding for Earle and me to photograph last Saturday with Earle meeting up with Sam in Ferndown and I went along to Becky’s family home in Southbourne where I found a busy house full of family and bridesmaids all excitedly getting ready for the day ahead.  As the morning progessed the weather improved and the sun began to shine and by the time we were all on the way to church it was a perfect summer day:-)

The reception at the Miramar Hotel on Bournemouth’s East Cliff was perfectly located for us to take a trip off down to the beach with Becky and Sam for some photography in the evening all topped off with a Red Arrows flypast directly overhead.  Everyone enjoyed a marvellous day and the evening party kicked off with Becky and Sam’s first dance which was the only time we saw the actual floor of the dance area all evening….it was packed!!!!

Many congratulations to Becky and Sam on your marriage and your perfect day, we hope you enjoy these selected photographs from your wedding and the many more to come once we have completed the full edit.  Earle and me appreciate all our readers and welcome any comments all you need to do it click on the ‘comments’ button below.

Fiona and Karl’s wedding
{St Aldhelms Church and Parley Manor}

Fiona and Karl travelled from their Ascot home to marry in Fiona’s birthplace and childhood home on the borders of  Poole and Bournemouth and Dorset’s south coast was at its best for their wedding day.  Karl was spending the morning of his wedding day with his family and friends at a local hotel which is where Earle met him while I made my way to see Fiona and her bridesmaids at her parents home for their preparations before leaving spot on time for the wedding ceremony at St Aldhelms Church in Poole.

Parley Manor was the next stop for us all and how extraordinarily pretty the gardens were looking after the overnight rain refreshed all the abundant flora and fauna.  The drinks reception and wedding breakfast was enjoyed for the afternoon and by early evening we were on our way to the beach with Fiona and Karl and a bit of fun with them dodging the sea and climbing on rocks.  On our return from our little photographic expedition the evening party was ready to start with the new Mr & Mrs Lord kicking things off with their first dance ably assisted by their two youngest bridesmaids Grace and Ava.

Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to Fiona and Karl on your marriage and hope you enjoy this selection of images from your wedding day.   Please feel free to add a comment by clicking on the box below, we love hearing from you:-)

Michelle and Paul’s wedding
St Marks Bournemouth & Canford Magna Golf Club

The sun is shining and we are off to the lovely local wedding of Michelle and Paul.  I met Michelle some years ago now through our mutual wedding clients.  Michelle meets many photographers in her capacity as  hairstylists/makeup artist for weddings so we were particularly delighted to be chosen to photograph their very special day.  Their ceremony at St Marks Church in Bournemouth followed by the wedding reception at Canford Magna Golf Club went seamlessly with everywhere looking beautifully decorated with the flowers supplied by Michelle’s very best friend Tracey of Southbourne Florist.  We had the most fantabulous time with Michelle and Paul on the beach later in the day capturing some stunning images loving all the offshore breeze and active skies.
