Zoe and Michael’s wedding
{Leith’s at Beaulieu, The Domus}

Rumour has it that as soon as Mike knew their wedding day could take place at Beaulieu and incorporate a reception in the National Motor Museum his mind was made up and fortunately it is such a beautiful and historic venue Zoe was happy too! We were delighted to be photographing their wonderful day and always looked forward to working with the fantastic team at Leith’s who are key to the success of Beaulieu weddings.

We met Zoe and Mike at The Master Builders Hotel at Bucklers Hard for their preparations although the boys were soon leaving for the pub and a little lunch with a large beer!! Zoe was enjoying a relaxed preamble to the wedding celebrations with her family and bridesmaids, hair and makeup all completed in good time, everyone was dressed and ready to leave for the 3.00 pm ceremony in The Domus.

There was a lovely mellow atmosphere for Zoe and Mike, The Domus looked stunning on this late autumnal afternoon, warm and cosy the scene was set for their marriage ceremony. After which we completed the formal family photographs then popped off with Zoe and Mike for a few portraits in the grounds of Palace House before the light disappeared completely. The much anticipated reception in the Motor Museum took place after the wedding breakfast, where Zoe and Mike had the opportunity to sit in some of the vehicles exhibited. Eventually we all returned to The Domus for the evening party and buffet however we did make the most of the time with Zoe and Mike who were very pleased to have some photographs of them together in the cloisters….of course!:-)

Many congratulations to you both, we hope you enjoy the selection of images we have chosen for our blog, don’t forget there will be many more for your gallery very soon!

Louise and Steve’s wedding
{Leith’s at Beaulieu, The Domus}

It looked like it was going to be a stormy day for Louise and Steve’s lovely wedding at Beaulieu but with the afternoon came a massive improvement in the weather and all was looking promising for the best of autumn in the New Forest.

Louise was at The Masterbuilders Hotel with her bridesmaids and family where I met them all while Gemma was taking care of their hair and make up.  The splendid flowers from Jo Hicks had already arrived and her team were now over at The Domus putting the finishing touches to the decorations there.

Earle met Steve and his party at Monty’s where they all enjoyed a drink and a spot of lunch before going across the road into the grounds of Palace House to greet the wedding guests as they arrived at The Domus for 3.00pm.

The atmosphere inside the Domus as warm, cosy and welcoming, a perfect setting for Louise and Steve who were of course the centre piece of a beautiful marriage ceremony after which we were thrilled to be able to complete the formal family group shots outside in the Cloisters then take Louise and Steve around the grounds for their wedding portraits which they were very enthusiastic about despite the chill in the air:-)  We were able to pop out again with them after the wedding breakfast and first dance for those much loved ‘after dark’ portraits, just for a few minutes while the party was in full swing so they were not missed too much by their guests.

It has been a brilliant day Louise and Steve, we hope you had the best time and huge congratulations on your marriage.  Earle and I have chosen some of our favourite images for the blog and will be in touch as soon as we have completed the proofing and post production on your gallery images.
