A perfect September day with warm sunshine, a balmy and peaceful atmosphere was the setting at Beaulieu for Ariadne and Brendan’s beautiful wedding.
It was a late start for us with the ceremony taking place mid afternoon and no preparation photography being required by either bride or groom and the photojournalistic approach in it’s purest form was vital, Ariadne and Brendan’s brief to us regarding their photographic memories was to provide high quality images of their wedding day as it happened, neither of them wanted to be aware of our presence. So with the arrival of Brendan then Ariadne at The Domus our mission of ‘stealth’ began! In reality it was hugely similar to our more usual approach to photographing weddings the only difference being no ‘formals’ and no location bride and groom portraits. A prefectly wonderful celebration unfolded with the team from Leith’s on top form as always.
Ariadne’s radiance was shining throughout the day, the beautiful marriage ceremony which had been so carefully planned thrilled everyone present and the music out in the cloisters with champagne and canapes flowing provided an ideal atmosphere for some relaxed socialising before the superb wedding breakfast and then of course big time party time afterwards.
Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to Ariadne and Brendan, enjoy your exrtraordinary honeymoon it is the stuff of dreams…have the best time!
