Anna and Ben’s wedding
{St Augustine, Florida}

Whilst we are extremely used to travelling long distances for our wedding clients we have never travelled quite as far as Florida, so this was a first for us!!  We did have a little extra interest in this wedding also as Ben is the eldest of the four children in our family and since he has now settled in Anna’s homeland it is there we all travelled to!

The wedding took place in the tiniest church in the ‘historic’ (in american terms;-)) St Augustine, which is a lovely town on the East coast just north of Orlando.  The 32 strong wedding party filled the church to capacity and Anna’s Godfather conducted a very special wedding ceremony.  The newest Mr & Mrs Peacock then led the wedding party out of the church for a few photographs then it was off to the beach and beach house for partytime!

Ben and Anna were keen to have a post wedding shoot also so a few days later we all travelled across to the west coast’s ‘Honeymoon Island’ at Clearwater where we had a great time photographing the bride and groom enjoying life getting soaked in those wonderful warm waters of the Gulf coast.

We have chosen some of our favourite images for our blog and will be delighted to hear your comments, just click on the box below:-)

Jules and Cos wedding
{Tyrells Ford, Avon}

We have worked with Jules for a number of years now at many weddings, she is the very talented lady who owns Jules Florist.  When Jules and Cos decided that if they were to have a wedding photographer it was going to have to be Earle and Jane, we were thrilled to accept and have been looking forward to our dear friends wedding day ever since the date was set:-)

Robyn Vallender was all organised to see Jules and her bridesmaids for the preparations in the bridal room at the Tyrells Ford and without a doubt when the girls walked into the ceremony room Cos was one extremely happy man!!!  Jules of course had organised all the flowers throughout and everywhere looked totally stunning.  Their marriage ceremony was beautifully emotional, full of laughter and tears of joy.

The early evening sun was shining as Jules and Cos greeted their guests outside for their drinks reception before the evening continued in the dining room and everyone was seated to enjoy a relaxed meal and partytime.

A perfect day for Jules and Cos which we were thrilled to be part of.  Enjoy your photographs, a few of our favourites are here while we complete the full edit.

Samantha and Chris’ wedding
{Beaulieu Abbey & The Domus}

It was back on the road to Beaulieu for Sam and Chris’ wedding day in Beaulieu Abbey and The Domus, we made an early start and met the bride and groom in neighbouring houses in the heart of the New Forest on the edge of Beaulieu village.  Earle met up with Chris and his party for lunch at the pub before leaving for church and I met Samantha who was with her family and bridesmaids enjoying some relaxing girl time having their hair and makeup done by Lesleigh and Robyn from Folio.

The rather damp start to the day was clearing and mid afternoon was dry with a hint of sunshine around for the short drive to the Abbey where Chris and all their guests were gathered for the marriage ceremony and drinks reception in the Cloisters and Domus.  We decided it was wise to photograph the formal groups as soon as possible in case the weather decided to close in again,  then once those were completed Samantha and Chris were able to walk around the grounds with us for a short while for some of those important bride and groom images, Palace House gardens were looking beautiful.

A terrific party followed the wedding breakfast and entertaining speeches, the first dance was followed by nonstop dancing for the rest of the night.  We stayed to see everyone wave goodbye to the bride and groom through a shower of confetti and Samantha and Chris drive off in their car festooned in wedding decorations and cans trailing off the rear bumper…..something we rarely see nowadays but always love!!!

Earle and I thank Samantha and Chris and their family for their generous and most kind hospitality all day and send our warmest congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Hawley on your marriage.  Stay happy:-)

Some of our favourite images are here for everyones enjoyment, we would love to hear from anyone who would like to join in and leave a comment.

Rachel and Garth’s wedding
{Palace House, Beaulieu. Leith’s at Beaulieu}

A wedding ceremony and celebration in Palace House, Beaulieu is a very particular event, Rachel commented on what a wonderful ‘priviledge’ it is to be able to marry in such a wonderful house.  The whole emphasis was on a very intimate atmosphere and the late afternoon wedding was bathed in springtime sunshine.

During the drinks reception we completed the formal photographs before taking Rachel and Garth around the grounds of Palace House and The Domus for some images of them alone together.  The wedding breakfast was in the stunning dining hall where the speeches and cake cutting took place pior to welcoming more guests for the evening and dancing in the drawing room.

All in all a super day with some wonderful people:-)  A massive thank you for the lovely gift and completely perfect card.

We have chosen a few images from the day for the blog and we hope everyone enjoys them, please feel free to join in and leave a comment.
