Jo and Rod’s wedding day

Last Saturday provided a beautiful October day perfect for Jo and Rod’s wedding.  Downton is Jo’s family home and St Laurence Church was the venue for their beautiful ceremony.  With Jo and Rod officially Mr & Mrs all their guests were on their way to the reception at the Chewton Glen while we followed Jo and Rod back to her parents home where a helicopter was waiting to whisk them off on a trip along the south coast and then to the hotel.  Earle joined them in the helicopter and was able to capture some wonderful natural fun images of Rod and Jo enjoying their trip.

I raced on to the Chewton Glen by car and arrived just in time to be in position by the helipad to greet them with a group of their guests.  All in all very exciting and Jo’s first trip in a helicopter was a resounding success!  The staff at the Chewton Glen took perfect care of Jo and Rod’s wedding celebrations and worked closely with us to ensure we all were able to give of our best.  This went some considerable way to ensuring we were able to capture some stunning images of Rod and Jo around the hotel and cover all the formal photographs in the grounds, so a great big thank you to their team.

Jo and Rod, Earle and I send you both our sincere congratulations on your marriage and the most wonderful day.  Thank you also for your very generous hospitality,  it is very much appreciated.

We have selected some of our favourite moment images for you to enjoy here while we complete the final edit on the whole day.

Remember everyone Earle and I love to welcome comments here so feel free to add yours!

Obehi and Bayo’s wedding day

This last weekend was a trip up to Hertfordshire and Hunton Park, the location for Obehi and Bayo’s wedding and magnificent party which was organised by Catherine of SEML in her usual brilliant way.

Following a busy time with the preparations around Hunton Park we all thoroughly enjoyed the most energetic and lively ceremony presided over by a minister who really knows how to engage his congregation…. he had them dancing in the aisle to celebrate the imminent marriage!   Nigerian weddings are always exciting and vibrant occassions which we love photographing, this was no exception and the extra help from our dear friend and photographer, Peter was completely invaluable.

Obehi and Bayo were shining with happiness all day and we are thrilled with the images we were able to capture, particularly the ones we organised with Obehi and Bayo around Hunton Park in the evening.  Congratulations to you both, enjoy some of our favourites here while we complete the edit for the whole day!!!

Kim and Will’s wedding day

It was off to Mudeford for Kim and Will’s wedding and the Christchurch Harbour Hotel.  Us girls had a busy morning at the hotel enjoying girlie type things like hair and make up, shoes and dresses.  Note here:  Kim’s beautiful dress created especially for her by Mojgan – absolute heaven!   The boys were kept busy with a small army of children!  When the time came to leave for the ceremony it was wonderfully relaxed with just a stroll across the road to the church in Mudeford where everyone had gathered including the small army headed by Kim and Will’s beautiful young son, George.

After the ceremony Kim and Will were driven down to the beach in the VW wedding camper van and spent a short while down there braving some fairly strong winds while we photographed them enjoying a quiet moment or two together before joining the wedding party again for the rest of the day, a wonderful reception and brilliant party complete with sky lanterns.  Now that was a moment which entertained not only all of us but all the onlookers in the hotel and restaurant!

Earle and I send you our sincere congratulations on your marriage, Kim you looked stunning, totally stunning! Will looked great but George was incredible!

Really loving those late night images Kim and Will which we created with you just before the first dance, can’t wait for you to see the final edit!  In the meantime here are a few winners from the day for you all to enjoy.  Don’t forget if anyone wants to leave a comment just click on the box below…
