Stephanie and Gavin’s wedding day

Yet again we have been pleased to acknowledge the power of personal recommendation.  Stephanie and Gavin contacted us through the enthusiasm regarding our approach to our work and the quality of what we are able to produce from a conversation with previous clients of ours.  Earle and I will always hold such recommendation very close to our hearts as it reflects the fundamentals of our philosophy towards both our creative work and relationships with everyone we work with.  Stephanie and Gavin were no exception, we enjoyed a brilliant day with them enjoying the celebrations with their family and friends.

Us girls were all busy in the morning at Steph and Gavin’s home with the preparations.  It was great to see Helen of MadeUp again, such a lovely calm influence as she brings out the very best from each of her clients.  Earle and the boys were at The Queens hotel in Bournemouth organising themselves before leaving for the church in Ferndown.

The whole day was one massive celebration for Stephanie and Gavin, people had travelled miles to join in and everyone was looked after wonderfully well with a lovely welcome at the St Mary’s and The Queens hotel making  great hosts for the party.  Steph and Gavin wondered off with us after the wedding breakfast for a walk down to the beach and some photography of just the two of them together relaxing in the evening sunshine and fresh air and totally emersed in each other.  This was only interrupted by us making sure they were back in good time for their evening guests and first dance!!

Earle and I send Stephanie and Gavin our warmest congratulations on their marriage and a huge thank you for your hospitality.

We love the opportunity to share with you all on our blog and love others sharing here also so please do join in by clicking on the comments box which you will find just below Stephanie and Gavin’s images.

Jacqui and Mark’s wedding day

We found ourselves moving from the far east on Friday to the wild west of  the Somerset coast on Sunday.  Jacqui and Mark married at St Audries Park, a fairytale manor house between Minehead and Taunton.  Earle and I met them there in the morning, I joined Jacqui in her room as she was getting ready and enjoying greeting excited visitors as the morning progressed.  The boys were all busy doing their own man type things before the ceremony and were all present and correct for Jacqui’s arrival with her son Craig at the Orangery for the ceremony.

After the ceremony Jacqui and Mark moved across to the main house for the drinks reception and to enjoy the music from a fantastic band from Weymouth called The Crack.  They struck up again after the wedding breakfast for the first dance and the dance floor filled for the whole time they played.

During the evening the sun came out and we were able to go into the beautiful grounds of St Audries with the bride and groom for some photographs of the two of them together before returning to the party in the house and the delicious buffet.  Of course once the light had gone we had to quickly borrow Jacqui and Mark again for some photographs at night against the tower.

Congratulations to you both on your marriage and a totally enjoyable  celebration, Earle and I are really happy we were part of it and look forward to you seeing all the photographs from your day but for now we have added some of our favourites here.

Earle and I always welcome anyone who wants to  add a comment to our blog, and yes we are prepared for the inevitable mickey taking concerning the Tower and someone getting locked in!!!  In fact feel free to forward any of those pics which were taken upon the release of the St Audries One :-)

Danielle and Rob’s wedding day

We met Danielle and Rob a couple of years ago at the wedding of  Danielle’s cousin Tracey where we were photographing her marriage to Andy at Parley Manor.  We were thrilled Danielle and Rob were impressed enough to want us to travel to Essex to photograph their wedding day.

Earle and I travelled to the beautiful Parklands at Quendon Hall where the wedding was taking place.   The girls all had a busy morning with Danielle, all four bridesmaids and her Mum having their hair and make up taken care of.  If any of you are needing a very talented make up artist in this area of Essex then Sam from Beautiful-you has got to be a fantastic choice.

After a lovely ceremony in one of Parklands stunning rooms the sun came out and we were all able to enjoy the drinks reception out in the grounds and complete the family group shots.   The Bridal Pavillion which sits down the drive of Parklands is quite beautiful, when Danielle and Rob wanted some photographs in and around there Earle and I were delighted and we are really pleased with the results.

The whole day was wonderful with Danielle a shining star all day and Rob looking on top of the world!   Congratulations to you both, have a brilliant honeymoon and we look foward to getting together again soon!  In the meantime enjoy some of our favourite images from your wedding day here.

Earle and I are always happy to welcome any comments here on our blog, just scroll down to the comments area below.

Lisa and Jules wedding day

We travelled over to Winchester for Lisa and Jules’ wedding day.  Lisa was at home with her friend and bridesmaid Tara  having their make up taken care of by Helen at MadeUP, a lovely and very talented make up artist from the Southampton area we are always very pleased to recommend to brides.  Before too long Lisa’s father and her three adorable little bridesmaids arrived with their parents and everyone was organised with their bouquets and button holes ready to leave for the ceremony at The Church of St Cross  in Winchester where Jules and his bestmen and ushers were all already waiting having enjoyed the ale and bread at the Almshouse.

Lisa and Jules marriage ceremony was wonderfully personal set in a stunning location with all the sunflowers which hold such significance to Lisa bringing brilliant colour to the whole occasion.  We were able to capture some beautiful images of Lisa and Jules after the ceremony in the grounds of the church with St Catherines Hill in the background, something we were very pleased to acheive knowing the romantic relevance of this location to our bride and groom!

Longwood Shooting Lodge was the venue for the wedding reception with Tall Hats Catering doing a marvellous job of looking after everyone.  We simply must make a mention here of the scrummiest wedding cake ever made – again another personal touch specific to Lisa and Jules but I may just make enquiries with them as to the availability of the recipe!!     Having met many of the guests just last year we guessed the party was going to be energetic with Tom Baker of Splendid providing an inspired night of music and the night raced on to the moment we all waved goodbye to Lisa and Jules who were whisked away at midnight!

Congratulations to you both, Lisa you are a total star, you looked stunning and were just the best when you braved the weather for the photographs with Jules.  Earle and I were so happy to be part of the team and have included some of our photographs below for you to enjoy.

As ever Earle and I welcome contributions to our blog via our comments box below.
