Juanita and Darren wedding

Juanita and Darren’s wedding day was a truly international event.  Juanita is from Singapore, Darren is local to this area but their friends and family arrived to celebrate the day from every corner of the world all contributing towards a superb day for everyone!

Christopher and the team at the Lord Bute in Highcliffe took care of the reception and evening party seamlessly after Juanita and Darren’s marriage ceremony at St Catherines Church in Wimborne

The wedding party took time out with us in the early evening to spend some time at Hengistbury Head, one of our favoured locations.  The weather had turned somewhat and Juanita’s friends proved what superbly loyal people they are by braving the chilly winds by the english seaside!  All the ushers took care of them though and we all had fun in the less than tropical conditions:-)  the time down there was well spent with some really succesful images achieved.

On our return to The Lord Bute the guests were all ready to party, Juanita and Darren got things rolling with their first dance from there on in the dance floor was packed for the rest of the night with Steve from Wessex Weddings dancing along and videoing with just as much energy as at the beginning of the day.

Juanita you looked a total star,  huge congratulations to you and Darren on your marriage and a wonderful day.  Earle and I have picked out some of our favourite images to share with you here as a taster of what you have to look forward to from the rest of your photographs.  Lastly but in no way least a big thank you for taking such care of us all day.

We are always pleased to welcome comments here so do feel free to add your own.

Laura and Bradley’s wedding day

Laura’s and Bradley came to us long ago to make sure they had their wedding photography safely organised with us and following a really successful pre wedding shoot they were looking forward to more photography with us on their wedding day.

Following a busy morning with Laura, her friends and family at home preparing each other for the day ahead we set off in good time for the Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth for the ceremony and reception.  Paul from Prestige Wedding Cars was as professional as ever and looked after Laura and her Father perfectly making sure they had a comfortable journey to the hotel arriving in good time.

Earle and Bradley were at the Cumberland by now of course, Bradley busy organising everyone with the help of his marvellous bestman Steve.  We were really pleased to meet with Helen Riggs again the Superintendent of Bournemouth Registrars who took great care in presiding over a very emotional and moving ceremony with her usual sensitivity and humour.  Paul then took Laura and Bradley off for a round trip drive along the overcliff and a very welcome glass or two of Champagne while enjoying a few moments quietly together for the first time as Mr and Mrs!!!

We are looking forward to meeting up with Laura and Bradley again very soon to enjoy a post wedding shoot with them in some of their favourite locations inspired from previous work Earle and I have done at different times.  We will have a blast with you both that’s for sure leaving your friends and family yet again blown away with the final proofs at least equalling but probably surpassing the pre wedding shoot if only because now you know it really can and does happen!!!

Our warmest congratulations to you both on your marriage and enjoy a wonderful life together.

Don’t forget we are always delighted to welcome any comments here on our blog: just enter them below in the space provided.  Thank you!

Natalie and Steve wedding day

Helen and the  girls from Acourts in Winton joined Lisa Mac for an early start with Natalie to organise hair and makeup for Natalie, her lovely bridesmaids and Mum.  I joined the party a little later in the morning and was greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome by them all.  Earle caught up with Steve and his mates after they had enjoyed a good hearty breakfast and before they headed off for Parley Manor where the wedding was to take place.

The infamous Bournemouth based VW wedding caravanette arrived to transport the boys and then returned to meet Natalie and her party and drive them to Parley Manor in true style.  The weather was perfect for Parley Manor to welcome everyone and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony with a marvellous solo singing performance from one of Natalie’s long time friends.

After the wedding breakfast Earle and I popped out with Natalie and Steve for a quick portrait shoot enabling them to enjoy a little time alone together and to catch up on the days events so far.  The sun was just dropping providing a wonderful sunset which we were able to take advantage of in their images…. always a perfect gift for us as well as the bride and groom!

We all got back to Parley Manor just in time for the first dance and partytime, which took off  with huge energy from the very first moment.

Natalie, you looked stunning, Earle and I send our warmest congratulations to you both Natalie and Steve.  Enjoy the selected images here from your wedding day, of course many more will be ready for you online very soon.
