Monday 1st September was the day for Anne and Paul to marry and they are doing it all again on Saturday!!!! Although Anne lives here, her family’s home is Denmark and they are having a ceremony over there so all her family can be part of it and it is a very good reason to have another good party in a really beautiful dress! We are just sad we can’t be there with you all again.
Anne had Michelle Camm and Robyn Vallender over to see her in the morning to take care of her hair and make up, they also looked after her lovely mum and sister, before long all that was left to do was for Anne to be dressed in her stunning wedding gown and leave for her wedding ceremony.
Paul and Anne enjoyed a very personal and emotional ceremony, with the choir which Anne is a member of having an important role to play in the musical element. Anne stirred the emotions of everyone in the church when she joined the choir and sang solo the first verse of one of her chosen songs – a remarkably beautiful moment in the day then almost before we could recover, Anne’s brother played guitar during the register signing, another moment when I had to remind myself to take photographs and not just stand and listen!!
Once the two families had enjoyed their lunch at Les Bouviers we took Paul and Anne to the beach for the photography we had planned with them. Against the odds the weather had stayed dry for all the important times of the day and we just managed to complete our trip to the beach in the dry but the clouds were looking stormy at times and the wind blew hard, brilliant conditions for us which Anne and Paul threw themselves into with fantastic humour.
Its been a great day to be part of. Earle and I send our sincere congratulations to you both and we are looking forward to the Wedding Diva shoot, the format is just tooooo exciting!
