Camilla and Kit’s wedding
{The Domus, Leith’s at Beaulieu}

Camilla and Kit travelled from their home in Guernsey for their wedding day in The New Forest.  We met them in Brockenhurst, Kit and his party were ducking the beams in the very quaint Cottage Lodge before leaving for drinks in Monty’s while Camilla and her family were at The Pig busy with hairstylists and makeup artists.

By the appointed hour of leaving for their ceremony at The Domus the early morning mist had lifted and the day was looking bright.  The ladies from Exclusively Weddings had been incredibly busy creating a magical and very beautiful scene within The Domus and proved perfect for Kit and Camilla’s particularly wonderful ceremony.  After which they  were able to enjoy a lovely drive in their wedding car around Beaulieu and grab a little time together while their guests tucked into the drinks reception.   A small army of Exclusively florists were back at work in The Domus  creating a massively impressive scene for the wedding breakfast.

Beaulieu’s open top vintage bus was a popular option for guests to have a trip around the estate in the early evening prior to the cake cutting and first dance which kicked off an excellent party with serious celebrations!

Huge congratulations to Kit and Camilla on your marriage and a very super day.  We hope you enjoy the blog images, we will be in touch as soon as the full gallery is online for you.

Zoe and Ben’s wedding
{The Domus, Leith’s at Beaulieu}

The New Forest at this time of year has got to be one of the best places to be and with the sun shining brightly for Zoe and Ben’s wedding day at The Domus in Beaulieu everything was looking perfect.

Jane went to meet Zoe at home in Minstead while Earle met Ben at Monty’s where he was meeting up with friends and family for a quick drink before the ceremony.  The Domus looked wonderful, the afternoon light was streaming through the windows throughout Zoe and Ben’s marriage ceremony and we were able to complete the formal family photographs outside in the Cloisters before they were taken for a drive around Beaulieu village in their very grand Rolls Royce wedding car and then enjoy their wonderful wedding breakfast.

It was important to Zoe and Ben to have those after dark photographs in the Cloisters, so they were more than happy to brave the evening chill after their first dance and we hope they are delighted with the results.

Many congratulations to Zoe and Ben on your marriage, a wonderful wedding day and for finding each other in the first place!

Lucie and Mike’s wedding
{Sherborne Abbey and Batchfoot House Marquee}

It’s always a privilege to photograph a military wedding, Lucie and Mike’s wedding at Sherborne Abbey was a total joy on a perfect early autumn day in the heart of Dorset.  I met with Lucie and her lovely bridesmaids in Ilchester for their preparations while Earle travelled to Upwey to meet with Mike and his party before moving onto the glorious Abbey in Sherborne which was bathed in sunshine giving the most wonderful light inside the church for their entire wedding ceremony.  The Guard of Honour was impressive and appreciated by the guest and all the onlookers who had gathered on the green.

Before leaving Sherborne we popped along to the castle ruins with Lucie and Mike, they had requested some photographs of them together here before travelling back to Upwey.

The reception was held in the grounds of Mike’s family home complete with an inflatable pub and big screen for the England Wales rugby match!  The fire pit and bales were a perfect quiet area and the surprise of a massive firework display was perfectly timed for those who needed cheering up or to celebrate after the rugby was over…..

Lucie and Mike, we send our very best wishes to you both for a very long and particularly happy life together.  We have chosen some of our favourite photographs for you to enjoy while the full gallery is finalised.  Enjoy!

Lucy and Andy’s wedding
{Wimborne Town Hall and No. 9}

Our family’s long awaited day arrived on 12th September with Earle’s lovely daughter Lucy and her long time boyfriend Andy getting married!  It’s difficult to write a blog for this stupendously wonderful day simply because we are of course completely and utterly biased about the elegance, beauty and love between these two amazing people….  suffice to say it was a very intimate wedding, very well thought out and superbly enjoyable with a particularly stunning bride and splendid groom.  Earle was a rather dapper Father of the Bride and of course suitably proud of his daughter and I am definitely the proudest step mother ever!

Luce and Andy no one in this entire world could be more delighted for you both than us, we hope you enjoy these blog images and the full gallery will be available this week.  Thank you for trusting me with your photography.  xx

Hanna and Calum’s wedding
{The Domus, Leith at Beaulieu}

What a beautiful summer’s day it was for Hanna and Calum’s stunning wedding in the heart of the New Forest.  We drove out to meet them for their preparations at their locations and spent a lovely morning immersing ourselves in the wedding day vibe.  The red routemaster wedding bus was filled with guests travelling from Brockenhurst village to The Domus where everyone awaited the arrival of Hanna and her father in glorious sunshine which stayed shining the whole day.  Jules of Jules Florist in Mudeford had created the beautiful floral arrangements for The Domus and of course all the bouquets, it was lovely to see her work again.

After a wonderfully animated and touching wedding ceremony Hanna and Calum enjoyed a drinks reception and wedding breakfast with their family and friends.  Making the most of the beautiful weather the early evening light was perfect for us to wander out into the grounds and photograph Hanna and Calum together.  They were keen for some portraits out by Beaulieu river and fortunately the tide was in so all was going our way!  Those after dark shots were also a ‘must have’ so during a break from the Ceilidh dancing the four of us popped out into the warm night air and enjoyed capturing what must be our most sought after style of work.

Earle and I send our warm congratulations to Hanna and Calum on your marriage and a beautiful wedding.  We hope you enjoy a small selection of images here, the proofs will be available shortly within the website gallery.

Gemma and Gary’s wedding
{St Mark’s Church and Barford Park}

We have known Gemma for a long time now through our work and were more than delighted when she and Gary became engaged, they then asked us to photograph their wedding day!  A major thrill for us, Gemma knows the wedding world inside out having worked in the arena for many years but above all they are a wonderful couple.

Earle and I both travelled out to Fairfields Farm where Gemma developed her love of the countryside and horses as a young girl.  Today she was preparing for her wedding day there, and was travelling to her own wedding in one of the beautiful horse carriages she used to polish for brides  in her childhood.    Gary was at his parents home, so Earle soon left to meet him before they all tractored to the pub for pre ceremony drinks.

St Mark’s Church in Ampfield was bathed in glorious sunshine for Gemma and Gary.  The ceremony was filled with joy and laughter with plenty of confetti being thrown over them as soon as they were back down the aisle and out into the sunshine.

Barford Park lies on another farm just outside Downton and the task of dressing this lovely barn for Gemma and Gary was in the very capable hands of Jo Hicks.  The flower arrangements, bouquets and the two enormous show stopping flower balls hanging from the rafters of the barn were outstanding. The barn looked perfect. Hay bales and wheelbarrows filled with ice and cold beers were scattered in the grounds outside and the caterers, Keats were all set with their incredible menu.

It was a beautiful day, Gemma created the team to help her achieve the perfect surroundings for her marriage to Gary, it was however Gemma and Gary together who were the team bringing the sense of joy and fun to the celebration.  We could not be happier for you both.
